Trip to Disneyland!

Katie went to California with the Challenger Choir. They performed at a church there and received a 2nd place trophy. Yeah!

The entire Choir went to Disneyland on Saturday, and I acted as a chaperone. It was hot and muggy. We had the pleasure of riding almost every ride though. Nate joined us in the early morning. He is stationed at Camp Pendelton and drove down to spend some time with us.

We had a great time. We stay longer than the choir (they left around 2pm) I believe we stayed until about 7pm. I don't think any of us could have stayed much longer...we were tired and beat.

We went to Kelly's (surfermomkelly) house to spend the night! It was fabulous getting the opportunity to meet her and her family. Her dh Larry took us all surfing on Sunday. Well, I stayed on the beach enjoying the views and warm sun, while he taught Katie how to surf and took Nate out on the big waves. Nate is now hooked on surfing LOL..he has even since bought his own board.
